1. Whenever you eat, you must have some sort of protein with the food
During meals or snacks, you need protein. Why? Because protein helps to control your blood sugar levels. You need stable blood sugar levels or you're going to end up with massive amounts of hunger and cravings that you won't be able to control. Another thing, protein naturally boosts the metabolism. If you think about it, it's obvious since your body is in fact made up of protein.
For meals you can probably figure out things that have protein in them... chicken, lean meats, protein shakes, black beans, whatever. For snacks, it's a little bit harder, but here are a few... low calorie yogurts, string cheeses, protein bars (be careful on the amount of sugars in these), and beef jerky.
2. Jump rope during tv commercials
Boxers are known for having great bodies. They rely a lot on jumping rope. While I know you're not looking to become a boxer or even look anything like a boxer, this exercise is great for both men and women. Do some rope jumping for 4 different commercial breaks. That'll total just over 10 minutes of your time. Just sneak it into your TV time.
There are obviously a lot of things you can do to stop fat, but these are 2 very simple ones that you can do pretty much right away.
